Haim Padro Ordered the Printing of Hibad Avraam‘s Book
The head of the State Printing House informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that the printing of a book of Hibad Avraam was completed. The printing was ordered by Haim Padro, before the Belgrade bombardment, but it wasn‘t possible to locate him and charge the rest of the printing costs. The Administration was requested to ask the Jewish Community to take over the books and pay the remaining part for printing. The Printing House was sent a Padro‘s address in Vienna.
Haim M. Haim Gave a Power of Attorney to David B. Ruso
Haim M. Haim, a merchant from Vienna, gave a power of attorney to David B. Ruso to represent him in a transfer of the real estate property, which he and his brother Izrael had sold to the Serbian authorities.
The Dorćol Precinct detained and interrogated Haim Pinto regarding the accusation that he had sold to Anton Šisl the stolen military boots. Rista Deda and Binja Pinto, the merchants, asserted the statement given by the accused Pinto that he had bought not stolen the boots, thus they requested to release Haim from prison.
The Association of Merchants of Various Specializations reported to the Office of Forced Trade Associations for the Suppression of Illegal Labor that Haim Russo was selling pharmaceutical products without a permit. The Office informed the Association that Haim Ruso was a lumber merchant, that his wife Blanka had a license to trade with chemical products, but she deregistered the shop in 1939.
Halizah Requested by Bohora, Widow of Samuilo Albahari
The Spiritual Court of the Jewish Religious School Community issued a statement regarding the request of Bohora, widow of Samuilo Albahari, who asked halizah from one of her brothers-in-law, Mihailo or Majir Albahari, so that she could remarry. Since Mihailo Albahari refused to give halizah to Bohora, the Ministry of Education and Religion instructed the Administration to force him with law to do so.
Household of Bohora Kalmi Seized For Debt Settlement to Moša Elijas
The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to the household from Bohora, a widow of Isak Kalmi, situated in the house in the Jevrejska Mala (a Jewish quarter), for debt settlement to Moša Elijas.
The document published by the Ministry of Interior of the Federal People‘s Republic of Yugoslavia, stating that Hana Finci, a housewife from Belgrade, born in 1904 in Budapest, had renounced her Yugoslav citizenship, because she was moving to Israel, and she had been granted Israeli citizenship.
Hajim Koen, a trade apprentice, filed a request to the Legation of Serbia in Bucharest to issue him a Serbian passport being a Serbian subject, because he lost his old one. In the file was preserved a testimonies given by Natan Tajtacak and Jozef Melamed that Hajim Koen was actually a Serbian subject and that his father Jakov Koen was murdered by the Turks afterwards Hajim and his mother moved to Romania.
Hajim, Mirjam and Viktorija Levi Renounced Their Yugoslav Citizenship
The document published by the Ministry of Interior of the Federal People‘s Republic of Yugoslavia, stating that Hajim Levi, his wife Mirjam, née Radovanović, and their daughter Viktorija had renounced their Yugoslav citizenship, because they were moving to Israel, and they had been granted Israeli citizenship.
