The investigating judge of the Town of Belgrade requested the Town Precinct to find Hajima B. Avram and Elijas Amudaj, tinsmiths, and to forward them to the Court for hearing session. The Precinct found out that Hajim Avram lived in the Fišekdžijska Street, in the area of Palilula Precinct and Elijas Amudaj lived in the Dorćol area.

Haim Pinto Requested New Passports For Himself and His Family

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs and the Administration of the Town of Belgrade communicated regarding the request of Haim Pinto to get passports to him, his mother Estera, to his brothers and sisters, since their old passports had expired. The request was reviewed and determined that Haim‘s father, Leon Pinto, was registered a taxpayer in 1859, that his family escaped from Belgrade during the Turkish bombardment of the town and that Leon missed to pay taxes for the years 1861 and 1862. Leon Pinto‘s sons submitted the proof to the Ministry that their father didn‘t escape from Belgrade and promised to pay the overdue taxes if they received the new passports.

House Selling of the Late Isak Konfino

The Belgrade Town Court communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade related to the proposal of Avram Hajim and Jozef Fason, the guardians of the late Isak Konfino property, that his house, located on the land owned by the Jewish Community, be sold. The Community agreed with the house sale, under condition that the new owner continued to pay certain compensation for the land. However, the guardians informed the Administration to have given up on the sale.
