Bohor Čelebon Ordered To Return to Vidin From Belgrade

The Ministry of the Interior communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the compalint Bohor Čelebon had filed against the Administration for ordering him to return to Vidin after six months of residing in the house of his uncle Konorta Pijade in Belgrade. The Administration responede to the Court that it had executed the order issued on 18 February 1844.

The Jewish Community requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to end the public protests against the Jews raised after the death of a Serbian boy in the Jevrejska Mahala (the Jewish quarter). The request was signed by Mišulam Levi, Avram Suzi, Isak Mora and Samojel S. Kojen.
