Certificate Issued to Jews from Brodi

The certificate issued to Jews from Brodi, Ukraine, who settled in Zemun, and then moved to Belegiš. The certificate was signed by the city magistrate and several witnesses, in the presence of the military officer Foj Rojber. The command was given by the field marshal in Petrovaradin and the certificate was used as an identification document.

The Zemun Magistrate read to the Zemun merchant Isak David contract on rafts, concluded between him, his father-in-law Rafael Salomon, Abraham Amigo, a merchant from Timisoara and colonel of the first Walachia regiment. David confirmed the validity of contract in the name of all parties involved.
