Hospital Bill Payment For the Medical Treatment of Avram De Majo

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade addressed the Ministry of the Interior regarding the payment of the hospital bill of Avram De Majo, a merchant apprentice, for his treatment in a hospital in Vienna. The Administration responded that it tried to collect the amount from the Alliance of the Jewish Religious School Community but got refused with the explanation that the bill should be covered by the Belgrade Municipality or the Hospital Fund.

House and the Real Estate of Avram Jozef Levi Sold For Debt Settlement

The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to execute the court decision brought in a lawsuit Moreno Konortić filed against Avram Jozef Levi, over debt. The house and the land on which it was situated, in the vicinity of the Batal Mosque below Bit Pazar, were sold to settle the Levi‘s debt.

House Selling of the Late Isak Konfino

The Belgrade Town Court communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade related to the proposal of Avram Hajim and Jozef Fason, the guardians of the late Isak Konfino property, that his house, located on the land owned by the Jewish Community, be sold. The Community agreed with the house sale, under condition that the new owner continued to pay certain compensation for the land. However, the guardians informed the Administration to have given up on the sale.
