Isak Papo To Be Deported From Serbia

The Dorćol Precinct escorted to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade Isak Papo who had come from Sarajevo and settled at the household of his aunt Flora Finci and started to work for Avram Pučino. Papo was to be deported to Sarajevo according to the regulation which banned the settlement of Jews in Serbia.

Isak Almuli Accused for Working on Sundays

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Administration of the Town of Belgrade and french Consulate communicated regarding the case of the merchant Isak Almuli who was working on Sundays. Almuli, a French subject, sued Kosta Matić because he had come to his store with a gendarme and had attacked him and his journeyman because they were working on Sundays. Isak Almuli claimed that he wasn‘t working, but arranging his financial documentation. Matić was reprimanded because he went to Almuli‘s store when it was sufficient just to call the gendarme and report the case.

Isak Almuli Filed a Lawsuit Against Ezra Benvenisti Over Debt

Isak Almuli requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to invite witnesses and interrogate them related to the debt Ezra Benvenisti owed him, because Benvenisti was in Jerusalem at that moment. The Administration didn‘t summon the witnesses, Davičo Haim and Leon David, finding that the case was controversial and the request could not be addressed to.

Ilija Mirković Filed a Lawsuit Against Haim Adut Over Debt

Ilija Mirković, the inn keeper from Kragujevac, had filed a lawsuit against Haim Adut, a tinsmith from Belgrade, who had made a debt amounting to 113 groshes during his stay in the inn in a month period, which he refused to pay. The Town Court instructed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to collect the debt amount from Haim Adut.

Isak Azrijel Requested Đura Bogdanović To Be Detained Over Debt

Isak Azrijel requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to detain Đura Bogdanović who owed him 1200 grosches for the flour he had given him. Đura Bogdanović changed his name and departed to Turkey together with his brother. The Quarantine in Aleksinac reported to the Administration to have found the accused Bogdanović and to have collected the requested amount.
