The Jewish Religious School Community reported on the number of born and deceased members of the Community from 20th to 30th November 1887. Samuilo Elazar, Avram Demajo, Hajim Gabaj got sons, Avram Adanja, Manahem Amar got daughters and Majir Levi got twins. Josif, son of Leon Jakovljević died.

Boena, a wife of Samuel Rušan, Klara, daughter of Jakov Cevi, Josif, son of Avram Ruso, and Rakila, daughter of David Rafailo died.

Jakov Mevorah Complained Against the Employees of the Commercial Court

Jakov Mevorah communicated the Administration of the Town of Belgrade on behalf of his father Moša, who had leased a store next to the Commercial Court. He gave a statement that he could not keep the front of his store clean because the employees of the Court were throwing trash everywhere. The Administration requested the employees of the Court to keep their garbage in one place and to throw it themselves.

Jews Sentenced For Deceiving the Authorities Regarding the Sukot Holiday

Several Jews, the officers of the Firefighting Troop, were investigated and sentenced by the state counselor for deceiving the authorities. They requested the 18 day-leave for celebrating their holiday Sukot, which lasted that long, as they asserted. The Administration of the Town of Belgrade addressed the Jewish Community and found out that the holiday lasted only 8 days.
