Jews Requested the Release From the Military Service on Saturdays

The major M. Lešjanin communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the Jews requesting the release from the military duties on Saturdays and religious holidays. Lešjanin requested the Administration to check their allegations that the German government during the war with France released Jews on Saturdays and religious holidays even from the battles.

Jakov Levenzon Bankrupted

Upon the request of the Commercial Court in Belgrade, the Administration of the Town of Belgrade inventoried the property of Jakov Levenzon, a merchant and a banker. The Court declared bankruptcy of Levenzon and appointed Moša Ozerović a guardian of his property.

The Belgrade Town Court annulled the decision brought by the Administration of the Town of Belgrade by which Mordohaj and Azriel Katarivas were arrested for fraud upon the accusation made by Josif Pardo.
