Matilda Levi Accused For Adultery and Murder Attempt

Isak Levi complained to the Ministry of the Interior against the Administration of the Town of Belgrade for failing to forward to the Court his lawsuit he had filed against his wife Matilda and Hajm Ozerović, for adultery and murder attempt. Since Matilda, family name Buli, was the Austrian citizen, the Austrian Consulate requested the Administration to dispatched the documentation related to the lawsuit.

Majer Albahari Informed the Administration That He Bought Brandy

Majer Albahari, an inn keeper in the Jevrejska Mala (a Jewish quarter) informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that he had bought two barrels of brandy and paid the associated taxes. The controller of the Administration examined the brandy.

Moša Mevorah and Đorđe Obradović Sold Foreign Lottery Tickets

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade instructed the Town Precinct to investigate Moša Mevorah and Đorđe Obradović and to review their business books. Mevorah and Obradović were in the business of selling foreign lottery tickets, but they didn‘t put the appropriate tax stamps on them, even though they were already warned about it.
