The Criminal Police Department of the Administration of the City of Belgrade fined Nisim Sarfati, the owner of the antiquity store in the Kralja Aleksandra Street, for failing to register the coat he had bought in a register book of purchased goods. He complained to the Ministry of the Interior and accordingly the fine was reduced from 300 to 100 dinars.
N. Levi Sold a Diamond Ring By Mistake To Ranković
N. Levi, a money dealer, reported to the Terazije Precinct that he had sold by mistake a diamond ring to the merchant Ranković. Levi requested the Precinct to find Ranković and order him to return the ring. The Terazije Precinct informed Levi that it had no such authority.
Nisim B. Aron Fined For Failing to Register His Apprentice Avram Levi
Avram Levi, the apprentice to Lazar Benarojo, was interrogated in the Terazije Precinct for failing to register his residence even though he was living in Belgrade for over a year. He stated that his previous employer Nisim B. Aron, didn‘t register him though he worked for him for six months. Aron was fined for this offense.
Nisim Aron Accused Salika Cevi For Stealing His Bills of Exchange
Nisim B. Aron accused Salika J. Cevi to the Terazije Precinct for stealing his bills of exchange and accordingly it investigated the case and sentenced Salika to detention.
In the meantime, Salika married Hajim Mika Bararon from Šabac and appealed against the sentence.
