Tax Collection From Šajlon Jakov Kalderon

The Požarevac District Headquarters informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that Šajlon Jakov Kalderon was registered in the Požarevac municipal tax register. At the same time, the Headquarters dispatched to the Administration the tax amount collected from Kalderon, for a period when he was a Belgrade taxpayer.

Tax Collection From David Levi

Correspondence of the Požarevac District Headquarters, the Belgrade Municipal Court and the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the identity of David Levi, a tinsmith, and location of his residence necessary for the tax collection. The Administration found out that Levi lived in Veliko Gradište but failed to collect tax from him. According to the report of the Headquarters he had no resources and lived on the charity of his brother-in-law Samuilo D. Majo.

The Main Control communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the reviewed accounts for the year 1874 of the Jewish school and the both synagogues, the old and the new one. The Main Control submitted findings to the Administration and requested to deliver them to the Jewish Religious School Community for execution.

The Dorćol Precinct reported to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade on events in the town and the issued passports. Azrijel Almuzino‘s grocery store was robbed during the night. Avram Melamed got a passport, valid 10 days, to travel to Požarevac.

Correspondence of the Administration of the Town of Belgrade, the Belgrade Municipal Court and the Ministry of Finances regarding the tax collection from Avram Albala, who moved from Belgrade to Šabac. It was determined that Albala had paid the tax for the year 875 both in Belgrade and in Šabac, which was why the minister ordered the tax refund.

The Brothers Levi Disturbed the Neighbors By Shouting and Fighting

Avram, Jakov and Isak Levi filed a complaint to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade against the decision brought by the Town Precinct which had fined them for disturbing the neighbors by their shouting and fighting. The complaint was rejected.
